| Sek was born and raised in Spetses Island, Greece. His passion about electronic music starts at the age of sixteen while he was getting familiar with the upcoming progressive house scene of the late 90s. He started collecting records and djing at his friends’ parties and local events. After a long period of partying and having fun he felt the need to move to the next level and be a professional. He took courses in Audio Engineering and Music Technology and graduated with a bachelor degree. After finishing his studies he worked as a distribution manager in Greek record label, The Sound Of Everything. Meanwhile he has started experimenting with various instruments, softwares, and music styles in order to produce his own material, a combination of dubby elements with minimal flavor and an old school house taste. Nowadays Sek finds himself in Athens. He spends most of his time setting up various gigs as well as working at his own home studio. With only 23 years old he becomes a part of the Nëim family, showing that youth is synonymous of dynamism and passion, producing tracks that can be compared with the big producers of the moment. |
