Born in Tamaulipas, Mexico but raised in Texas and actually living in New York, Alyssa Barrera started her interest in electronic music at the age of seventeen. She began to travel to the city of Monterrey,MX and exposed herself to the electronic music underground scene there. The sounds of Anja Schneider, Audiofly, and Matthias Tanzmann led her to experiment with the decks at the age of nineteen. Within a year she played several times throughout Texas, Reynosa, Monterrey, and Los Cabos San Lucas, MX. Alyssa has left impressive impacts on experienced DJs who have given her significant support. Her sessions based on minimal house are combined with various percussion instruments, intrinsic vocals, and worked up into a beat with plenty of body. Always making sure to maintain a vibrant atmosphere at the dance floor for an unforgettable night.

When one does something effortlessly, always with commitment, it is natural to follow the instinct, and so she has. She changes careers and enrolls in Full Sails University 21 month program for a Music Recording Arts Bachelors Degree, starting in October 2009. Till then, Alyssa will continue to learn the basis of music production at home and continue to seek for future roaring crowds.
